By accessing or using Layla AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. You confirm that you are a Muslim adult and that you will use the service for its intended purpose — whether you are currently married or preparing for marriage. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Layla AI.

Service Description

Layla AI is an AI-powered Islamic marital and intimacy advisor. The information provided is educational and informational, drawing on Quran, Sunnah, and classical Islamic scholarship.

Important — please read carefully: Layla is an AI assistant, not a human, not a scholar, and not a mufti. Its answers are not formal fatwas and must not be treated as binding rulings. AI systems can and do make mistakes, including occasionally misremembering or paraphrasing hadith. For any matter requiring an authoritative Islamic ruling, a complex personal situation, or anything you intend to act on in a serious way, you must consult a qualified human scholar in your madhhab. Layla AI also does not provide medical, psychological, or legal advice — for those, consult an appropriate licensed professional.

Subscription and Billing

Layla AI offers 5 free messages upon sign-up, followed by a subscription of $7/month. No credit card is required to access your free messages. Your subscription begins only when you choose to upgrade. Billing is processed securely via Lemon Squeezy.

You may cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing date to avoid further charges. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refunds are issued for partial months.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Layla AI in accordance with its intended purpose — seeking Islamic guidance on marital and intimacy matters. You agree not to:

• Attempt to obtain guidance that contradicts clear Islamic prohibitions
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use Layla AI for commercial resale or to build competing products
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying AI system prompt
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

Intellectual Property

The Layla AI platform, brand, design, and underlying technology are the exclusive property of Layla AI. AI-generated responses are provided to you for personal, non-commercial use. You retain no rights over the platform itself.

Privacy

Your use of Layla AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. We do not store transcripts of your chats on our servers; messages are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) under their privacy terms.

Disclaimers

AI systems can make mistakes. While Layla AI strives for accuracy grounded in authentic Islamic sources, responses may not always reflect the full complexity of Islamic jurisprudence. Always consult a qualified Islamic scholar for matters requiring authoritative rulings.

Layla AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Layla AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our maximum liability to you shall not exceed the total subscription fees you have paid in the three months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting us for account deletion.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of Layla AI after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
